The core function of Emra is to transcribe your voice. We collect the Customer Content you provide, which includes:

  • Audio recordings (Inputs)
  • Transcripts generated from your audio (Outputs)
  • Contextual data (e.g., screen text) if you enable optional context-awareness features to improve accuracy.

Note on Training: We may use de-identified or pseudonymized text and corrections to improve our AI models for all users, but only if you opt-in. You can control this in your Settings.

D. Payment Information

When you sign up for any of our Paid Services, our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"), collects and processes your payment-related information, such as your name, email, billing address, credit/debit card or banking information, or other financial information. E. Other Information You Provide Directly To Us

We may collect additional information you provide directly, such as feedback in surveys or support requests.

3. Use of Data

We use your data to operate, maintain, and improve Emra. Specifically, we use it for:

  • Service Delivery: Processing your audio to generate transcripts and managing your account.
  • Communication: Sending security alerts, feature updates, and responding to support tickets.
  • Improvement: Analyzing usage trends to fix bugs and enhance application performance.
  • Security: Detecting fraud, preventing abuse, and enforcing our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We disclose it only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate our business. This includes:
    • Transcription & AI: Assembly AI (for processing audio). Data sent here is deleted after 30 days and not used to train their models.
    • Hosting & Database: Fly.IO and Supabase.
    • Payment Processing: Third-party payment gateways.
  • Legal Requirements: If compelled by law, court order, or government request.
  • Protection of Rights: To investigate fraud, enforce our policies, or protect the safety of our users.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

9. How We Secure Your Information

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
